Hosted by Lichfield District Council and Tamworth Borough Council’s shared Building Control service, the Building Excellence Awards celebrate and reward building projects throughout Lichfield District and Tamworth Borough.
More than 70 guests came to the lunchtime award ceremony, held at the Guildhall on Tuesday 11 January, to see the winners receive their awards.
The Chairman of Lichfield District Council, Councillor Barry Diggle, and Ged Cooper, Manager of Lichfield and Tamworth Building Control, were on hand to present the certificates to the various catagory winners and runners up.
The judges chose the winning projects based on the overall best design, management and construction of the build.
Councillor Neil Roberts, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Development Services, said: “These awards celebrate excellence in the building industry, and I am delighted to see such a wealth of fantastic projects across Lichfield District and Tamworth Borough. Congratulations to all the winners and runners up, and good luck in the next round.”
