The Festival of Folk is upon us, showcasing top performers, dancers and delivering an all-around memorable experience.

The concerts start with the first ever visit of The Exmouth Shanty Men on Friday 16 October. Supported by Dragonhead and Mitres Well, fabulous singing and no little fun is promised at our curtain raiser.

The mood is carried on into Saturday with Lichfield Folk Night Collective, Tony Portlock and Helen Burton, Tom Patterson and Dave Morton, Kate and Andy Fincham, all offering support during the afternoon to the well-loved Mad Jocks and Englishmen and the groundbreaking Merry Hell.

In the evening, Lichfield’s own Emily Sanders and the up and coming Granny’s Attic perform before the widely anticipated TradArr who are creating excitement across UK audiences.

Sunday sees the return of our own, and very popular, Wildfire Folk and Amelia Harrison, who with Tom Perry and Clive Brookes support the amazing Melrose Quartet.

How lucky are we to have this iconic group who will also split into their component parts with Jess and Richard Arrowsmith performing in the afternoon and the amazing Nancy Kerr (Radio 2 Best Folksinger of the Year 2015) and James Fagan bringing their consummate musicianship to the evening stage.

We complete our festival with a bit of a shindig, so let your hair down with the high-octane Blackbeard’s Tea Party!

All these concerts are offered at great value prices so see our website for details.
