Market Square is the place to be on Sunday 23rd November as Lichfield City's Christmas Lights are switched on and everyone is welcome!
Offering an afternoon and evening full of family entertainment, Santa will be spreading good cheer to all the young boys and girls of Lichfield as he tours the city centre on his sleigh (between 2pm and 5pm) and Market Square will be a hype of activity:
2:00pm: The Lighthouse Company
2:30pm: Johnny and the Speedos
3:30pm: Blast Off
4:30pm: Carol Singing (led by Christ Church Primary School Choir)
4:50pm: The Cast of Cinderella
5:00pm: Switch On
5:03pm: Santa appears! Remember: the bigger the wave, the bigger the present!
So who is turning the lights on? No other than the Mayor of Lichfield, Councillor Norma Bacon together with the cast of Cinderella (oh yes they will).
With plenty of stalls selling food and Christmas gifts, this promises to be a day to remember.
