Talented local youngsters amongst the cast at the Lichfield Garrick
The youngsters battled through X-Factor style auditions to win a place amongst a cast of fifty talented local performers.
Presented by the award-winning Walsall Operatic Society, the show features such favourites as Sunrise Sunset, To Life! and, of course, the ever-popular If I Were A Rich Man, so famously brought to life by Topol in the film of the same name. The children are now busy rehearsing with the cast and, in fact, joined the rest of the company in their acclaimed concert production, Broadway and Beyond, in Walsall last autumn.
Speaking earlier today, choreographer Charlotte Mills said “It was fantastic to see such amazing young talent at the auditions. We’re so lucky to be working with these children and we can’t wait for our audiences to see them joining us for the brilliant Fiddler on The Roof.”
