The Darwin Summer Walk - July 20th 2014.
The walk starts at Bunkers Hill Car Park off Sandford Street, Lichfield at 10am. A full day of exercise and great fun.
Wacky Wednesday - August 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th Four weekly craft sessions suitable for children aged 5 to 12 years.
Summer Fun at Sam’s House - 7th August
Join in the Summer fun at Sam’s House at The Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum. They are offering drop-in arts and crafts, fun and games throughout the holidays. A different activity every week. Price: Only £2. Every Thursday in August, 10.30am – 1.30pm
Art Workshop - August 19th
Small and friendly sessions led by award-winning local artist Carole Collier, beginners very welcome. £10 including all materials and refreshments, booking essential.
Lines of Beauty - Daily until September 7th.
Lichfield Calligraphers bring words to life in an exhibition of works displayed around the beautiful historic building of The Samuel Johnson Museum. Free entry, donations welcome. 10.30am – 4.30pm

20 August - Springy animal puppets
27 August – Beautiful birds. Make a bird to add to our Visitor Centre tree
Price: £7 per child for all four activities or £3.50 for Critters and Furries animal handling only. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
Lichfield Brass Rubbing - 21st July to 29th August
The Swinfen Broun Trail leads you through Beacon Park and across to Minster Pool, solving missions and completing eight brass rubbings along the way. You can buy a trail for 50p from the Ranger Station (near the crazy golf course). The ranger station will be open 9am-8pm daily throughout July and 9am-7pm in August. Time 9am to 7pm.
Beacon Park Fun Day - 13th August
Enjoy a wide variety of games, sports and outdoor activities in Beacon Park on 19th August 2014. Don’t forget to bring your teddy for the Teddy Bear Games. Wednesday 13 August 2014. Time: 11.00am to 3.00pm
Family pond dipping and bug hunting session - 19th August
Beacon Park. 1.00pm to 3.00pm. Price: £1 per child
Under 16's can enjoy FREE entry to Lichfield Museum. Complete the children's trail for a tasty treat - explore and have fun. 21st July to 8th September.
The Lichfield Derive - 25th July
Take part in a fun cycle ride around Lichfield. A city centre cycle ride that meets at Speakers Corner at 6:30pm on the last Friday of every month. A fun, free event open to all cyclists.
Saturday 26th July - A great value, full day out for all the family, from 10 until 5pm. This year's theme is The Seaside and features horse classes, amusements, fun fair, craft fair with demonstrations, refreshments, trade stands, Polly Parrots road show, dancing dogs, punch and Judy, donkey rides and more!
WW1 Discovery Day and Trench Tour - 28th July
Why not go along to the the WW1 Discovery Day at the Staffordshire Regiment Museum and see what life was like for soldiers in the great war.
Parents and children will get the chance to try on uniforms, handle weapons and equipment from the time plus explore the museum and its fascinating collection of medals.
Discovery Day Tours start at 11am, 12noon and 1pm.

Marty Macdonalds Farm on 29th August 2014 - Featuring children's TV favourite Justin Fletcher, the Voice of Pongo the Pig and Nicole Davis (Topsy & Tim, Chuggington) as the Voice of Molly-Moo the Cow. Please note that Justin and Nicole do not appear in person. Time 11.30am and 2.00pm.
JC Academy are running a fantastic sports camp for only £12 per day (usually £14). Days jam packed with sports and arts activities.
