If your Dad’s into his golf this one is irresistible, how about a round of golf and lunch at the fabulous Hawkesyard Golf Club, Dad can enjoy a superb round of golf whilst Mom and the rest of the family can take a leisurely stroll around the beautiful manicured grounds and discover the hidden Hawkesyard Hall. Booking is essential.

Erasmus Darwin House are throwing open their doors for you to explore and you can even treat Dad to a pork bun and a glass of real ale in their beautiful herb garden.

Or how about challenging Dad to race at Midland Karting? They will be offering you a 2 for 1 on their Arrive & Drive practice session between 9am and 11am on Sunday 16th June just in time before lunch!

How about giving him something he can treasure? When was the last time you had some family photos? Give Sara a call from The Great Little Picture Company you won't be disappointed!

For something a little different or if your Dad fancies himself as a budding Paul Hollywood how about visiting The Kitchen Shop in Market Street?

Now if your Dad’s a keen gardener you may want to take him up to The Plant Plot where he can stroll round and enjoy the lovely plants in full colour and then enjoy a strawberry cream tea in their delightful Pantry coffee shop. He may like some gift vouchers to spend too!

You may be able to find him an unusual gift in the annual Arthur Price Factory Shop Summer Sale which starts on June 8th with up to 70% off on certain lines you may even be able to treat yourself!

Robert Broad Travel arrange some fantastic day trips which would be a real treat for Dad why not give the team a ring and arrange some gift vouchers?

While in town this week I’ve seen some very unusual gifts in the Emporium Art Gallery on Bird Street and why not try the new gift shop in Tudor Row (just past thebestoflichfield window) called Additions loads of gifts for men of all ages!

Of course you can always treat him to a meal in his favourite restaurant but remember to book as they do get extremely busy on Father's Day.

Happy Father's Day!
