Don't miss this year's Lichfield Festival

We are delighted to announce that

Sir Mark Elder will be conducting  the Hallé in the major opening concert of this year's Lichfield Festival.

The renowned orchestra and its hugely respected resident conductor will be playing to their strengths with a programme centring on Sir Edward Elgar's Symphony No.2.

In addition, mezzo soprano Alice Coote will be the soloist in Elgar's Sea Pictures.

This concert is on Thursday 5 July in Lichfield Cathedral. For more about the Hallé, go here.

An exciting and richly varied programme is currently being put together for the 12 days between Wednesday 4 and Sunday 15 July, and we'll be sure to let you know new developments as soon as we can.

The full programme will be announced in April and public booking will open at the beginning of May. See below for how you can enjoy priority booking.

And keep an eye on www.lichfieldfestival.org  for updates.
