Shakespeare a huge success in Burntwood

As you know working with local independent businesses is our passion and when we were asked earlier in the year to recommend a venue for an outside performance, it just had to be Bradshaw's Farm Shop & Cafe, in Burntwood.

Especially as the performers were all from the Pauline Quirke Academy who train at the local Chase Terrace High School.

This is what prinicipal Phebe had to say about the day:

'Shakespeare in the Park for PQA Lichfield was a tremendous success and the weather was the icing on the cake!

With students aged 6-18 performing A Midsummer Nights Dream, Macbeth and Romeo & Juliet, the audience had plenty to sink their teeth into, along with some fabulous food from the Bradshaw Bros kitchen!

With some excellent characters, loud voices and supportive parents, the weekend was definitely one that will be remembered!

Congratulations to all the students for their hard work!'
