Talented comedian and folk singer Richard Digance returns to the Lichfield Garrick next month
Richard Digance is without a doubt one of the most entertaining acts on the circuit with brilliant self-penned comic songs introduced with panache, style and outrageous humour.
This evergreen performer appeals to all ages, making him one of Britain’s top comedy and music performers.
Richard has performed on all stages from an audience of eight in The Falklands to half a million at Knebworth Festival with The Beach Boys, and everything in between.
His impressive career has led him to a BAFTA Nomination, a Gold Award from the British Academy of Songwriters, a SONY Radio Award and nine letter words on Countdown. He has survived all trends in comedy and music and remains one of Britain’s most unique entertainers performing his songs, rhymes and stories like nobody.
Richard has worked with a multitude of world-class artists, including Steve Martin, Robin Williams, Roy Orbison, Elton John, Steeleye Span, David Essex, Jim Davidson, Supertramp, Elkie Brooks and Tom Jones.
