This years Alrewas Art Festival takes place from 23rd August to 30th August 2014 and promises a great week of FREE workshops, arts, crafts, exhibitions and more!

The opening ceremony takes place at 11am on the 23rd on the decking at the Crown Car Park and wil be celebrated by the bells of All Saints Church.

Daily, regular events include:

  • Art Exhibitions at the Methodist Hall (10am to 5pm)
  • Arts Cafe at the Methodist Hall (10am to 5pm)
  • Photographic Exhibition at the Scout Hut (9am to 5pm).
Here is a glimpse of just some of the other things you can expect:


Saturday 23rd August

  • Street Market - art and craft market on Post Office Road, 11am to 5:30pm
  • Art and Archive Trails - trail maps from the box office in the Methodist Hall
  • Ceilidh with the Hoovers - 7:30pm at The Village Hall
Sunday 24th August

  • Workshops 
  • Tap Dancing for Adults
  • Line Dancing
  • Science Meets Art
  • Alrewas a Time of Change
  • One Love at All Saints Church
Monday 25th August

  • Flea Pit Breakfast Club at the Old School shosws "Frozen" film 
  • Folk Breakfast
  • Workshops 
  • Lunchtime concert - Go Ukelele Crazy Orchestra
  • Did Elvis come from Alrewas?
Tuesday 26th August

  • Flea Pit Breakfast - Gnomeo and Juliet
  • Workshops
  • Drama Shorts - relaxed evening of fun and entertainment
