New Year guided walk

Lichfield District Council’s Chasewater rangers are inviting everyone to work off their Christmas dinners in the new year with a free guided walk at the picturesque country park.

Setting off from Chasewater Innovation Centre, the New Year’s Winter Walk will be a gentle three-mile stroll round the reservoir.

Ellen Williams, Chasewater Ranger, said: “Come to Chasewater Country Park to burn off your Christmas puds and start your year as you mean to go on, with a healthy wintry walk. It is for all ages and abilities, and dogs are welcome on a lead. Please wrap up warm and wear sturdy shoes or boots.”

The New Year’s Winter Walk is taking place on Monday 2 January. It is setting off from Chasewater Innovation Centre at 2pm.
