Murder in Bloodford Village

The Lichfield Garrick has teamed up with Derby based Big Adventures Theatre Company and Lichfield MasterChef Simon Smith to present 3 nights of murder mystery this forthcoming bank holiday August weekend. Murder in Bloodford Village is the second murder mystery event put on by the theatre after last year’s sell out Murder on the Churchill Express.

The Lichfield Garrick’s main stage will be transformed into Bloodford Village as audience members are invited to solve the murder of millionaire Charles Van Mortem, who is found strangled to death with his own telephone cord.

But who killed him? His wife, Olivia? The local reporter, Danny Fox? The timid Reverend Chaste? And what about the cabaret singing duo Errol and Stella De'Ath? You are the detective and only you can solve the crime!

Taking you back to the 1920’s, Murder in Bloodford Village has a very traditional ‘Agatha Christie’ whodunnit feel, with hilarious characters and gags. This interactive evening allows audience members to question the cast and more importantly to get sleuthing alongside a theatre dining experience.

The evening includes a summer buffet made by Simon Smith, known for this imaginative and creative menus. Patrons are also encouraged to arrive early to take part in a pre-show Summer Fete.

Murder in Bloodford Village is playing at the Lichfield Garrick on Friday 25th to Monday 28th August (excluding Sunday 27th) at 7.30pm. Tickets are £44 each (including buffet) and can be booked online at www.lichfieldgarrick.com or by calling the Box Office on 01543 412121.
