They've once again joined forces with Paul Hendy and Evolution Productions to bring audiences a real festive treat with SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS.

Lichfield legend, Sam Rabone, is back once again for his seventh year at the Garrick as he returns as Nurse Nellie. He’ll also be directing the production as well; it’s now his fifth year doing so.

Sam says: “HELLO LICHFIELD! Well, we'll have to do it again then won’t we?! This is the first time I'm doing Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs here at the Garrick, so we are all in for a treat! We have such a good cast it was great to meet them all this week, and what a magnificent seven we have too! From a handsome Prince to an evil queen, this panto has it all! With all new jokes this year (and some old ones we should probably know better than to use again), I can't wait to hear the first few bars of Bring Me Sunshine and bring you the fairest panto of them all! If you’re sad that summer is over, don't worry panto is just around the corner! See you soon, lovely people!”

Joining Sam are two more familiar faces – Maria Conneely and George Akid. The eagle-eyed panto fans among you will recognise Maria from last year’s All New Adventures of Peter Pan, where she played Lizzie, and, if you can remember that far back, George was here in 2019’s panto Cinderella, where he played one of the Ugly Sisters.

Also joining the cast are local Burntwood boy Daniel Breakwell as Prince Charming and Lindsay Bennett-Thompson as the Wicked Queen.

Snow White will be joined on stage by the Magnificent Seven, including familiar faces such as Brian Wheeler (Star Wars) as Brian, and Dean Whatton (Game of Thrones, Call the Midwife) as Sarge. There’s also Liam Roche as Groover, George Coppen as Striker, Jack Hilton as Cheeky, Isaac Napoli as Loopy, and Geoffrey Sergison as Sniffly.

Matt Clay, Interim Executive Manager of the Lichfield Garrick, says, “We’ve faced many challenges this year, so we’re delighted to be bringing our annual festive treat back in full force. We have a wealth of talent amongst our cast and crew, and everyone here at the venue is very excited for a Christmas season full of magic, entertainment, and laughter!”

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs promises to be a dazzling show with stunning sets, sensational song and dance numbers, larger-than-life costumes, and plenty of audience participation... oh yes, it does!

The show opens on Friday 25th November and runs through until Saturday 31st December.
