The Staffordshire Garden Centre G-Scapes has launched a new service aimed at helping people realise their dream garden.

G-Scapes of Lichfield - based on the site of Curborough Craft Centre,  has started offering ‘Meet the Designer’ days every month at their Plant Centre - the first of which is Tuesday 22nd February. The free sessions involve meeting Miss Mami Okubo, G-Scapes’ resident Garden Designer for a discussion on how a garden could look.

Plant Centre Manager Byron Lewis explains : “We’d all love to have our very own dream garden but in reality many of us have difficulty picturing what would look good where. The aim of these Meet the Designer sessions is for customers to bring in a few photos of their existing garden, tell us any ideas they may already have, then chat with our expert Designer to create something special. With the aid of the latest Computer Aided Technology, Mami can even take people on a virtual tour of their own garden without leaving the Plant Centre!”

Mami is a registered member of the prestigious Society of Garden Designers (SGD), one of only two members in Staffordshire.

The first ‘Meet the Designer’ day is on Tuesday 22nd February – sessions are FREE OF CHARGE, but you will need to book in advance – call 01543 401032, or book via the website by following the link from the feature page on thebestoflichfield.
