The Book of Human Emotion by Tiffany Watt-Smith
Lichfield Literature Festival event at Wade Street Church at 11:45am.
 

Into The Shadows at Lichfield Garrick - book tickets to see Into The Shadows recreate the unique sounds of The Shadows from 7:30pm. 

Coppelia - Vienna Festival Ballet - at Lichfield Garrick. This performance of Coppelia will appeal to everyone who appreciates brilliant dance and is also a wonderful ballet for family audiences who will delight in the story.  

Tower Tours at Lichfield Cathedral - Take in the breath-taking views of Lichfield and beyond on these extended Tower Tours. Tours take place daily.

The Big Draw: the Story Studio at Samuel Johnson Museum - Activities throughout the month for artists young and old, based on this year’s theme "every drawing tells a story". 

 

Saturday 10th October


Into The Shadows

The Mirror of the Age – New 2015 Library Tours. Amongst the incredible selection of items showcased on this tour, visitors can see a 13th century Canon Law manuscript, a Geneva Bible from the time of the Reformation, a manuscript containing signatures of Charles I, and an 18th century book on the history and antiquities of Staffordshire.  

The Neptune Association Service of Remembrance - at the National Memorial Arboretum. The Neptune Association will hold a Service of Remembrance at their memorial followed by a private AGM in the Rose Room 

Making Up The Past - Writing Historical Fiction Workshop  - A starter-kit for writing historical novels. From researching your period to creating a believable sense of place and time, dialogue and characters.

1001 Beers You Must Try Before You Die - Adrian Tierney-Jones - an event as part of the Lichfield Literary Festival. This bewitching, thirst-inducing, gorgeously illustrated book is a guide to the best beers in the world
