Performers wanted for our Festival Fringe

For our 30th anniversary year, we are introducing a Festival Fringe of free performances around various venues in the city between 6 July and 17 July.

Its aim is to give amateur performers from Lichfield and Staffordshire the chance to take part in the festival, and to bring the festival to the people of Lichfield in a new and exciting way.

Commenting on the introduction of this new strand of its summer Festival programme, Festival Director Fiona Stuart, explained: "Lichfield Festival has a 30-year history of engaging with the local community through fringe events. In 2011, to celebrate our 30th birthday, we want to build on this legacy by creating a broader fringe programme designed to celebrate and showcase the work of local performers."
