Chairman of Lichfield Round Table Richard Holland was delighted with the collection saying "I wish to thank all the people of Lichfield and surrounding villages for their generous donations which have resulted in a record collection this year.

The 19 good causes that supported us did a superb job as Santa's 'elves' and helped bring the joy of seeing Santa to both young and old across the district.

We are also very greatful to Atlas Clinical, Central Garage, Tippers Builder's Merchants and T Turner Auto's in Lichfield who provided free support to keep Santa's sleigh on the road this year.

To do an even better job next year we would like to encourage Lichfield men aged 18-45 to join us at our new members night in late January to find out more about Round Table."

Organisations interested in making a funding request should email the details of their proposal to info@lichfieldroundtable.co.uk describing the organisation's objectives and the specific use of the funding requested.

Lichfield Round Table is holding a new members evening on Thursday 24th January at Rugeley Rifle club where all local men aged 18-45 are welcome to attend to find out more about the fortnightly social activities and local community work undertaken throughout the year. Details are available on www.lichfield.roundtable.co.uk/events/ or prospective members can meet up with Round Tablers travelling to the event on the night at the Bowling Green Pub at 18:45.
