True crime film series continues at the Lichfield Garrick next month with 1968 American thriller Targets.

The Lichfield Garrick will be showing horror film Targets in its Intimate Studio theatre on Wednesday 2 March 2016

Directed by Peter Bogdanovich, Targets follows an aged horror star who feels his low-budget movies pale in comparison with actual violence. Making an appearance at a drive-in movie, he runs into a local man on a killing spree.

The film will be preceded by a short talk by Julian Upton, author of Fallen Stars and editor of Offbeat: British Cinema’s Curiosities, Obscurities and Forgotten Gems.

Other classics showing at the Lichfield Garrick this spring include: 10 Rillington Place, The Black Panther and Henry: Portrait of A Serial Killer.

Last chance to snap up tickets for Tell Me On A Sunday starring Jodie Prenger this March.

With just over two weeks till the box office smash it opens at the Lichfield Garrick, the theatre is reminding local people to book their tickets before it sells outs.

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black’s classic musical charts the romantic misadventures of a young English girl in New York in the heady days of the 1980s.

Brimming with optimism, she seeks success and love. But as she weaves her way through the maze of the city and her own anxieties, frustrations and heartaches she begins to wonder whether she's been looking for love in all the wrong places.

The iconic musical, with a wonderful original score, features Unexpected Song the chart-topping Take That Look Off Your Face and title track Tell Me on A Sunday.

This new 2016 production directed by Paul Foster includes an intimate post-show chat with Jodie about life, love and playing the role of Emma.

Set to be a sell-out, Tell Me On A Sunday runs from Thursday 3 to Saturday 5 March 2015 at 7.30pm.

Tickets for any show can be bought by calling the Box Office on 01543 412121.
