On Monday 29th May, the streets of Lichfield will come to life with colourful street processions, parades and celebrations throughout.

Kickstarting the celebrations is the Court of Arraye, the traditional start to the Bower celebrations. Taking place at 10.30am in Lichfield’s Guildhall, this marks the beginning of the Lichfield Greenhill Bower.

The streets of Lichfield's city centre will come to life with the traditional Bower street carnival filled with floats, bands and lots more.

There will also be plenty of food stalls, catering to everyone's taste buds, so there's plenty to indulge in. Also to enjoy will be fairground attractions, seller's stalls, arts & crafts - everything needed to make it a great day out.

The Bower celebrations continue into Beacon Park, where they'll be something for everyone. The day is filled with a colourful array of attractions including a stunt show, Paws in the Park, Scruffs Dog Show, as well as a music tent where great local bands will be performing.

JC Academy will be in town at the Bower with a stall and will also be in Beacon Park, where kids can take part in football target shootout.

When you book a place for your child at one of their summer holiday camps and pay a deposit there will be a special bestof discount.

Look out for the Lichfield Lions who are celebrating Lions 100 years of raising funds for local charities. To mark this occasion, they will be collecting £1 coins (both old and new) to make 1 meter lengths of £1 coins.

This years’ Lichfield Bower is not to be missed!
