Beacon Park Bird Watch

To take part, keen birdwatchers simply need to collect a free recording sheet from the Ranger Station (next to the crazy golf course) or the Discovery Hub (behind the bowling greens), and find a spot to sit and note all the feathered friends they see. Once the results are all in, the RSPB will use them to estimate how bird populations are fairing across the UK.

On both days, Beacon Park’s rangers will be helping people to make environmentally friendly birdfeeders out of pinecones in the Discovery Hub for just £1 a feeder.

For more information, please call Beacon Park’s rangers on 01543 308867.

The RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch provides vital information on the UK’s bird population each winter. You can find out more by visiting www.rspb.org.uk/birdwatch.
