Jazz continues to flourish in the City of Lichfield with large audiences attending the regular monthly sessions at the George 1V, Bore Street.

The next gig is on Wednesday 19th April with the Olly Chalk Trio. Pianist Olly brings along Double Bass player Sam Ingvorsen and drummer Gwilym Jones. Expect a mixture of original material plus a number of swinging standards.

Gig starts at 8.00pm and entry is just £5 entry.

Wenesday 17th May will see ‘A Night of Swingin’ Standards’ performed by Ellliot Drew (Sax), Billy Weir (drums), Rising Hammond and Dave Ferris with Lichfield’s pride and joy Nick Dewhurst on Trumpet.

If your taste buds prefer more swing and jive high energy music then you must get tickets for The Jive Aces on Friday 12th May at Lichfield Guildhall.
