Jazz at the George IV this Autumn

Lichfield Jazz continues their exciting season at the George IV Pub in Lichfield on Wednesday 19th October with a visit from the ‘Mitch Perrins Trio.’ The group of fine musicians are Mitch Perrins (Drums), Mike Green (Bass) and Nick Dewhurst (Trumpet). They will be playing music from his ‘Survival Suite’.

Gig starts at 8.00pm and entry is just £5!

Other concerts lined up for the Autumn are Tom Lindsay on Wednesday 16th November and Jazz at the George IV Christmas Special to celebrate Lichfield Jazz's first year on Wednesday 21st December.

Walsall Jazz Orchestra straight ahead original Big Band jazz from this very talented orchestra. Free,

Sunday 6th November,7.30pm - Feathers Inn 

Blast Off Lichfield’s funkiest, grooviest community big band play an explosive mix of funky riffs, groovy beats and original catchy tunes. Free.

Sunday 20th November, 8.00pm - Guildhall 

Sarah Gillespie Quartet  - This fine left field singer brings along her star studded quartet of Kit Downes piano, James Maddren drums and Ruth Goller bass to perform her wonderful songs with a touch of Joni Mitchell and a taste of rap! £14.

Sunday 4th December, 2.00pm - Bowling Green Inn  

Bring along the family to Lichfields funkiest grooviest community big band Blast OFF. Free.

Saturday 10th December, 8.00pm - Guildhall

King Pleasure and The Biscuit Boys - High octane swinging jump and jive with a touch of Basie - Book early! £16.
