Local musicians are being invited to play with some of the finest jazz musicians when Lichfield Arts and Lichfield Jazz present a pre-season Friendly Jam Session at the Cathedral Hotel, Beacon Street on Wednesday 18th September, at 8.00pm.
The event will be led by a house-band of some of the most talented and creative local musicians, playing jazz,blues, and improvised numbers.
A Lichfield Arts Spokesman said ‘This will be an excellent opportunity for musicians to play together, creating new music, and sounds as they happen in the moment. It will be an exciting night of music making, as people who have never played together before find musical common ground. You will hear new music, or old music performed in new ways, and at only £5.00 per ticket, it will be a great introduction to jazz, and the work of both Lichfield Jazz, and Lichfield Arts’.
