Introducing Lichfield Food Festival
The festival is taking place on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 September 2012 in and around the Lichfield Garrick, in the Guildhall's Guildroom, as well as in restaurants, pubs, cafés and bars across Lichfield City.
Featuring celebrity chefs, John Torode, from BBC's Master Chef, and Anthony Worrall-Thompson, as well as Lichfield's very own local masterchefs including Simon Smith, Lichfield Food Festival is set to draw in the crowds and create a great buzz across the city.
It will also include a Food Studio, a Vineyard in the Sky, and a Kitchen Gadget Corridor in the Lichfield Garrick, a Best of British Brewing festival in the Guildhall, and Lichfield's much loved Farmers' Market in the Market Square.
The festival will involve venues across the city that will be offering special fixed-price menus, offers on wine and ale, and vouchers to save money at local eating and drinking establishments.
It is hoped the festival will boost visitor numbers to the city.
