Lichfield has so much going on during the summer holidays, there’s no chance you’ll be stuck for something to do:

Beacon Park

Record Breaker's Trail  - Saturday 18th July, 10:00am until 5:00pm

Follow the trail, try some records and solve the anagram to be entered into the prize draw. Go to the Ranger Station in Beacon Park to buy your trail.

Wacky Sporting World Records on Saturday 25th July, 12:00pm until 3:00pm

Have a go at some wacky sporting world records.  Who can limbo the lowest, juggle with the most balls and hula hoop the longest? Drop in to Museum Gardens between 12-3pm.

Staffordshire Regiment Museum

WW1 Discovery Day and Trench Weekly Tour - Monday 20th July to 31st August, 11:00am until 3:00pm

Bug Hunt - Wednesday 22nd July

Children are invited to search for creepy crawlies. The sessions are running from 10am to 11am, 11.30am to 12.30pm and 1pm to 2pm. They cost £1 a session and need to be booked in advance by calling 01543 308869  

Sainte Foy Recreation Area

Green Gym - Wednesday 22nd July, 10:00am until 11:00am

Enjoy a 1 hour circuit session using fixed machines and additional fitness equipment run by a qualified instructor.  FREE ages 11-25 - £1.00 for over 25s

With a specially-design backpacks, children can explore the vast grounds of the Arboretum and examine the many varieties of mini beasts who call it home. 

All Day Pond Dipping
Bring your own net and bucket to the Arboretum to discover some of the creatures who live in our new wildlife pond. 

All Day Den Building
Children can try their hands at old fashioned den building on Wildlife Wednesdays. All den building materials will be provided.
