The comprehensive house clearance service from Richard Winterton Auctioneers aims to make the process as easy for you as possible.

They pride themrselves on being reliable and sympathetic and can give advice in all matters.

They offer complete and part house clearance services, emptying the house of all/part of the contents, properly disposing of all that cannot be sold and clearing the property afterwards, ensuring that it is clean and tidy for the new occupants.

This includes items which do not meet current fire / electrical regulations.
Where clients are downsizing / emigrating, they can advise and organise the haulage and sell through auction their excess furniture, ornaments, pictures, electricals, tools and garden ornaments to suit their time schedule.

A representative will meet the client on site to discuss their individual requirements and explain the costs involved.

In a constantly evolving antiques and collectables market you just may have a hidden gem waiting to be found!

Their initial advice is free of charge and they are always delighted to share their expertise - ‘know the price before you sell’.

All items are sold at The Lichfield Auction Centre modern salerooms which cater for all aspects of the Auction World - from household effects to fine art, works of art, cars to medals, fine wines, decorative arts and collectables.

Their team of experienced and qualified experts are on hand to offer their advice and up to date market knowledge.

What happens once items are consigned for Auction ?
Easy: Their aim is to make the selling process as efficient and smooth as possible and maximise the potential of everything they handle.

Account No.: All clients are allocated a unique permanent account number and this sticker is applied to their property to enable the auction house to trace it. Boxes are carefully unpacked and photographs taken of each individual consignment and vetted by their numerous experts
and directed to the relevant sale and lot allocation.

Fees: £7 per lot whether sold/unsold and 15% commission (both subject to VAT).

This includes handling, insurance, online images, live internet bidding, marketing and promotion.

Make sure you get the right advice before you make what could be a very costly decision.
