G-Scapes was set up by Malcolm and Elizabeth Gee in September 1973 as a result of Malcolm's solid horticultural background and passion for plants.

Now 40 years on the company is doing exceptionally well and the friendly team continue to go out of their way to meet the garden design, landscaping and construction needs of their customers.

But after 40 years, it is time for a change or two and the team would like to announce that Malcolm has made the momentous decision to hand over the role of Managing Director to their youngest son, Daniel. Daniel has worked within the business for the last 15 years and has master - minded projects ranging from domestic landscape schemes to managing a major 4 year contract for Network Rail.

Daniel has gradually modernised the business by re-structuring and developing new working practices to help maximise efficiency - so more than capable, we're sure you'll agree.

The family values of the company are further being strengthened by the return of Robert, the oldest member of the Gee family to Lichfield and to G-Scapes.

Having worked in the business for 10 years, Robert left Lichfield to set up his own Garden Design and Construction business in Bournemouth and he has also developed and managed garden centres in Bournemouth and London.

Now, 10 years later he has returned, bringing with him a wealth of valuable experiences. Elizabeth Gee still retains a pivotal role in the business. She has been Company Secretary and accounts manager for the last 40 years and has the unenviable task of keeping the men folk of her family in check!!

As Malcolm looks forward to shedding some responsibility and handing over the day to day running of the business to his two sons, G-Scapes will continue benefitting from his wealth of knowledge and experience for many years to come.

Exciting times we are sure you'll agree, and there is no doubt in our mind that G-Scapes of Lichfield will continue to grow from strength to strength.
