As the February half term approaches fast, we thought we'd share some of the exciting events happening in Lichfield:

Erasmus Darwin House is providing fun for the whole family from Thursday 20th to Sunday 23rd, between 12noon and 4.30pm.

Parents can explore the House and gardens whilst the kids keep busy with drop-in Animal Madness themed craft activities from making stretchy animal puppets to putting on their own shows.

There is no need to book, just drop in. Entry is just £3 per adult, £2 concession,£1 per child, £6 for the whole family and includes all activities during your visit.

Discover Life in the Trenches at the Staffordshire Regiment Museum as The Staffordshire Regiment Museum hold a WW1 Discovery Day on Monday February 17th - a great way for families to learn what life was like for soldiers during the Great War.

The Museum's uniformed guides will take you on an exciting tour of the fantastic WW1 trench system, and describe what life was like for soldiers during the Great War, complete with the sounds of sniper bullets whizzing past and the crack and rumble of German guns.

Parents and children will get the chance to try on uniforms, as well as handle weapons and equipment from the time, plus explore the Museum and its fascinating collections of medals (including VC's) weapons, uniforms, recordings of real WW1 soldiers talking about their experiences and much more.

Discovery Day tours start at 11am, 12 noon and 1pm. Adults £3, children and concessions including senior citizens £2.

Lichfield Leisure Centres

Burntwood Leisure Centre, Friary Grange, King Edward V1 and Beacon Park are holding a fun packed week of holiday clubs and football offers to swimming fun sessions and coaching courses keeping youngsters entertained throughout the February half term. Lichfield Garrick Theatre - Saturday 22nd February, 2pm.

Old MacDonald Had a Farm - Help old MacDonald find his missing animals this February half term. 

Written especially for parents to enjoy with their children, this fun filled farmyard tale brings to life all the best loved characters from the original nursery rhyme and promises fun, games, giggles and plenty of singing.
