Ok so I blinked & March disappeared let's hope I have better luck with April! It's Easter holiday month so check out our full event listings to find out what's happening in Lichfield, however here is just selection if you are stuck for ideas during the school holidays.

Get the kids to look out for the new "Bestoflichfield" mini! I am so excited this will be launched during April so if you see me driving around town give me a wave!! Check the blog later in the month for a fantastic competition.

Lichfield Garrick Youth Theatre are presenting Oliver! from Tuesday 5th -Saturday 9th April one of the most well known and best loved British musicals ever produced. Tickets from £12.

On Friday 8th April at the Guildhall in Lichfield you are in for a real treat if you are a Beatles fan, this will be a memorable  concert for Beatles fans and lovers of fine music played by superb musicians. Enquiries to Lichfield Arts tickets from £14.

There is lot's of fun to be had at the Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum this Easter from April 9th until 24th April. Trails, activities and competitions available every day. Including Sam's Easter Egg Hunt.

The Narrow Road Passion Play is taking place at the Lichfield Cathedral from 7.15pm Saturday 9th April. Tickets from £10.

Thursday 14th is "Bloody Thirsty Lichfield" from 10.30 am at the tourist information centre. This thrilling tour designed espeically for children is back by popular demand, children must be accompanied by an adult.

Make your own kite and help celebrate National Kite Month! Pop down to Beacon Park between 11am & 3pm on Saturday 16th April and join in the fun.

From Saturday 16th April through to 15th May you have the chance to take one of five woodland walks through Yoxall Lodge and see the delightful Bluebell Woods. New for 2011 The Walled Garden Walk. For more info 01283 575237.

CBeebies favourite double-act Chris & Pui are coming to town. Meet them & see their new roadshow packed with fantastic new songs and some surprises at the Lichfield Garrick Sunday 17th at 11am or 2pm. Tickets £10.75/£6.75.

Chasewater Railway are hosting an Easter Special from Friday 22nd - Monday 25th April. Take the kids for Esater fun, heritage trains, tea room, gift shops, and museum.

Easter Saturday enjoy a stroll around Lichfield and visit the St George's Day celebrations & market in Lichfield's Market Square. A variety of free entertainment and fun. From 10.30am-3pm.

Or pop along to the Heart of the Country Shopping Village where you will find something for all the family, with award winning food 16 exclusive shops and a micro brewery.

Enjoy ERASBUNNY Fun at Erasmus Darwin House, join the hunt for "Erasbunny" in the Georgian house and win a chocolate egg.

Round off the month with a trip to the Guildhall on Friday 29th April at 8.30pm to see Dervish a wonderful Irish band that are at the forefront of Irish music. Tickets from £16 contact Lichfield Arts box office on 01543 262223.
