Great events happening in Lichfield this March

March already can you believe it! There are a lot of events listed on our events pages but I wanted to highlight some great things happening in our great city this month.

Fancy a night out at the Lichfield Garrick, don't miss Arabella Weir in "The Real me is Thin". Thursday 3rd March 7.30pm booking essential.

Shrove Tuesday (8th March) would not be the same without the famous pancake race held in the Market Square. Register for free at the Guildroom by 11.30 a.m. 

Wednesday 9th March is the start of the "Let in the Light" Exhibition at the Lichfield Cathedral in celebration of the 400th anniversary of the King James' version of the Bible. Free entry.

Why not pop along to Erasmus Darwin House on Saturday 12th March for some Fun Physics, Brilliant Biology and Exciting Electronics. Fascinating science based fun for all the family. Free entry.

Down in Beacon Park Lichfield on Saturday 19th March between 11am - 3pm there are fun family activities exploring the fascinating topic of how humans and other animals communicate. 

Or pop along to Chasewater for their Spring Gala on the weekend of 19th & 20th March 10am - 5pm. 5+ engines, freight trains, refreshments, museum & gift shop. Tickets are £4.95 valid all day.

Finish off the month with a concert from the Lichfield Arts team. Sunday 27th March sees the UrbanFolk Quartet & Wildfire Folk visit the Guildhall, don't miss this bands vibrant & exhuberant stage performance. Booking essential 01543 262223.
