Free Bike Rides

Lichfield District Council, Freedom Cycles and Jigsaw were proud to launch this year’s programme of Cycle Rides for All on Sunday 1 April 2012.

Twenty-five people got on their bikes and joined the 12-mile cycle ride to Fradley Junction and back again.

Cycle leaders led the group on a gentle ride through the village of Fradley, then onto Fradley Junction for a stop at the café and nature reserve by the canal.

Appropriate for all ages and abilities, the next outing in the series is a 9-mile ride on 6 May to Whittington.

To join the rides, just bring your bicycle, safety helmet, a picnic and yourself to Freedom Cycles in Lichfield at 10am on the first Sunday of the month. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

For more information contact Freedom Cycles on 01543 411633 or Jigsaw on 01543 253666.
