Excited about Bonfire Night? Well you can take your pick from any of these great events there really is something for everyone this year:
Drayton Manor will be celebrating their 65th anniversary with the biggest firework spectacular yet. Held over the weekend of Saturday 31st and Sunday 1st November, the displays start at 7pm with the last admission into the park at 6pm. Many park rides will be open until 9pm. There will be a family friendly bonfire and firework display on Saturday 31st October at Elford Hall Garden, Church Road, Elford, set in a beautiful historic walled garden with a barbeque and bar. Food and music from 5.30pm, bonfire lit 6.30pm and firework display 7.15pm. Tickets cost £6 adults, £3 children 5-16 years, under 5 years free.
Once again, Saxon Hill Community School is hosting a 'low noise' firework display on Friday 6th November especially for those who don't enjoy the noise. There will be a raffle, side stalls, rides and games to enjoy. Food and drink will be available from the Community Cafe. Tickets Adults £4.50 Children under 14 £3.50 Under 3 No charge. Get down to Whittington tonight for the Bonfire & Fireworks display organsied by Whittington Cricket Club with the help of some local friends!
Bonfire Night at Tamworth Castle – this is a great opportunity to visit Tamworth Castle after dark, before enjoying the ever popular, breath-taking firework display in the Castle Grounds. The activities in the Castle Grounds start at 6pm and the firework display starts at 8pm.
