Erasmus Darwin House Celebrates 15th Year

Erasmus Dawin House has undergone five years of restoration and refurbishment and is now open to the public as a museum and education centre.

An 18th Century Polymath, the house offers an insight into the life and works of Erasmus Darwin as well as a fantastic programme of activities and events.

During the month of April 2014, there will be a number of special events taking place in celebration of the 15th Anniversary including:

Wednesday 9th April - Gala Dinner

The evening's guest speaker will be historian and TV presenter Adam Hart-Davis, followed by an after dinner auction to raise funds for the museum, led by family descendant Christopher Darwin.

Tickets for the event are £35, and will include a three course dinner, coffee and drinks.

Saturday 12th April - Celebration Day

A family day where you can come and take a look around the House and herb garden, whilst keeping the kids busy with games and crafts.  Click here to find out more!
