Early Christmas Shopping
23rd November 2009

There's a great opportunity to find some unusual and distinctive gifts at Boley Park Community HallĀ this Wednesday (25th November). There's over 30 stalls with everything from flowers to toys to toiletries. And you can enjoy a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie while you browse.

The event is organised by Connect, a local business womens' group, and is a fundraiser for the Pathway Project, a local charity which runs refuges and provides support to victims of domestic violence.

Our very own business member Joy FieldingĀ  of Shaw Lane Flowers will be there displaying her wonderful floral creations, as will Mission Accomplished's Pam Beale, who offers concierge and lifestyle management services - they could both be extremely useful people to meet this side of Christmas!

I'll be there too and I would love to meet you. I'll be asking visitors to tell me who they think are the best businesses in Lichfield and giving them the chance to join our growing membership who get notification of great local offers. I'll also be on hand to recommend some of the best local businesses and suppliers to you, so if you want a chat about who to get to build your extension or sort your plumbing I'll be there with details of the best.

Everyone is welcome so please come along, enjoy a drink and a mince pie, sort your Christmas shopping out and help a local charity all at the same time.

For more details have a look on our events page.
