Creative ways of raising money at the Lichfield Garrick

Eight members of staff from the theatre are preparing to don their trainers and compete in this year’s Lichfield 10K to raise money for its youth theatre. The team are hoping to raise £3,000 to help fund their new Youth Theatre Programme.

Lichfield Garrick’s Artistic Director, Tim Ford said: “We are really excited about the development of our new Youth Theatre Programme. This will be a fantastic programme for local young people to engage with the Lichfield Garrick and to create some phenomenal work here at theatre. In order to ensure the programme gets off to the very best start, our staff team is committed to fundraising and supporting its development for future generations of local people. Everybody is training really hard, and feeling very nervous about the race, but we are all determined to get around the course together. To donate We need as much support as possible so please do help us by sponsoring us today.”

The 10K race, now in its 20th year, is set to pass through the countryside between Lichfield and Whittington on Sunday 13 September 2015.
