Oh, Whistle, and I'll Come To You My Lad

Adapted by Margaret May, this creepy story by M.R James tells the eerie tale of Professor Parkins, a Cambridge academic on an out-of-season holiday at a bleak English east coast hotel in 1907.

At an old graveyard near a deserted beach he finds an old bone whistle and whilst cleaning it discovers the inscription: Quis est iste qui venit ("Who is this who is coming?").

Deciding to blow the whistle, the professor wakens a disturbing supernatural force.

The productions take place at Lichfield Garrick's main stage from Tuesday 4 to Saturday 8 February 2014, from 7.30pm with Thursday and Saturday Matinees at 2.30pm.

Tickets cost from £16 (£10 for students), and can be booked online at www.lichfieldgarrick.com or by calling the Box Office on 01543 412121.
