Celebrate the Diamond Jubilee in Lichfield!

Why not join in the fun at the FREE Jubilee party? Celebrate in style on the Lichfield Cathedral lawns (or inside if it's wet), and a quintessentially British street party along Dam Street! Sunday 3 June 12.15pm - 2.45pm: Cathedral Lawns 11am - 4pm: Dam Street

Take your blanket, a picnic basket, union flags and finest singing voices to enjoy an afternoon of music, food stalls, face painting, balloon modelling and more, in the Jubilee-themed Close and along Dam Street. From entertainment and street stalls in Dam Street, to an afternoon of alfresco music, provided by the Offbeat and Lichfield Arts in the Cathedral Close, fantastic food stalls, and a Worth Brother's wine tent on the Cathedral Lawns, the afternoon is set to be the best way to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II.

There'll also be the chance to decorate a jubilee cup-cake, or make a jubilee crown and to take part in the crown competition to be in with the chance to win a prize!

The Cathedral event is being organised by Lichfield District Council, Lichfield Arts, The Lichfield Festival, Lichfield Cathedral. The Dam Street event is being organised by Dame Olivers in Dam Street.

Not available in the day, not to worry you can still celebrate in style at The Spark Cafe Bar.

Celebrate the Diamond Jubilee from 6pm, where they will be bringing the best of British to The Spark - from coronation chicken and strawberries and cream to Pimm's and Beefeater gin and tonic. And to help them recreate the summer party vibe, not only will they have an array of giant party games available, but their record deck will be ready for your vinyl from the best of our British bands!
