ONE of the country’s leading jewellery valuers will be offering free advice and auction estimates at Burton Albion Community Football Trust (BACT).

Heather Callaway FIRV FGA DGA AMAE – vice-chair of the National Association of Jewellers – will be at the Burton Albion Community Football Centre hub near the Pirelli Stadium on Thursday, September 30.

A certified gemmologist and Fellow of the Institute of Registered Valuers (IRV), Heather is an independent valuer based in Staffordshire who works with Lichfield-based Richard Winterton Auctioneers.

The family firm has a long association with Burton Albion and the work undertaken by BACT.

Auctioneer Richard Winterton holds weekly free valuations supporting the trust at the football centre, with safety measures in place so appointments can be carried out securely.

To book an appointment with Heather from 10am on September 30, call The Lichfield Auction Centre on 01543 251081 or email

“I can’t wait to meet the people of Burton and hear the stories behind their heirlooms,” said Heather.

“The world of jewellery, gemstones and watches is an endlessly fascinating one and I’m looking forward to seeing what treasures we can discover.”

Commission on items consigned for auction following a valuation at the hub will support BACT and people can also donate items in aid of the trust at the sessions.

Auctions broadcast live from The Lichfield Auction Centre attract thousands of bidders from across the globe.

Based at Fradley Park just off the A38, Richard Winterton Auctioneers is also a proud sponsor of Burton Albion’s 50/50 tickets and the main sponsor for BACT’s 10-year anniversary celebration evening at the Pirelli Stadium on Thursday, November 4.

Appointments with Heather Callaway may be made from 10am on September 30 – to book, call 01543 406124 or email
