Burntwood Christmas Lantern Parade

The parade will feature lanterns of all shapes and sizes. It will set off from Burntwood Youth Centre on Cherry Close at 6.30pm and then make its way around local streets.

The parade will return to Burntwood Leisure Centre, where it will be greeted by real reindeer. There will also be a Christmas market in the sports hall that will include carol singing by the Lichfield Garrick Young Rep Choir, craft stalls, face painting and festive refreshments.

In preparation for the parade, a series of free lantern making workshops will be taking place from 26 November to 8 December.

The lantern making workshops are running from 26 November to 8 December. To find out more or book your place, please call Ryan Waldron, Development Worker, on 01543 308225 or email ryan.waldron@lichfielddc.gov.uk.

The lantern parade will take about one hour. Under 12s need to be supervised at the workshops and on the parade by someone who is 16 years of age or above.
