Because of the icy and slippery conditions, if you are planning to come along to the Burntwood Christmas Lantern Parade, please double check the council’s website at www.lichfielddc.gov.uk/burntwoodparade on Friday.
We will be making a decision about whether the event can still go ahead by 4pm on Friday.
We will also post a message to the FAB (Forward Action Burntwood) Facebook page, or you can call and listen to a recorded message on 01543 308225 or 07946668706.
Even if the lantern parade can’t go ahead, the winter market at Burntwood Leisure Centre will still take place from 7.30pm to 9pm. This will include craft stalls, face painting, refreshments and more.
