Black Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year and luckily it happens during the Christmas shopping craze, so obviously the best time to get your Christmas shopping done. This year Black Friday falls on 25th November, which of course is a Friday.
It is a day when retailers slash their prices drastically for one day only. This means you’ll see crowds of people fighting to get their hands on a TV for a bargain – of course we encourage no such violence!
Not every shop do Black Friday deals, for a variety of reasons, but most take advantage of it and drop the prices down like you wouldn’t believe it. Since the explosion in popularity of online shopping, instead of overcrowded shops, you get sites crashing from too many people trying to access it.
You might think that it’s only the big boys in retail that take part in this tradition, but that’s not the case. Independent retailers don’t pass up the opportunity, and usually they will have some great deals going on.
