Black Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year and luckily it happens during the Christmas shopping craze, so obviously the best time to get your Christmas shopping done. This year Black Friday falls on 25th November, which of course is a Friday.
It is a day when retailers slash their prices drastically for one day only. This means you’ll see crowds of people fighting to get their hands on a TV for a bargain – of course we encourage no such violence!
Not every shop do Black Friday deals, for a variety of reasons, but most take advantage of it and drop the prices down like you wouldn’t believe it. Since the explosion in popularity of online shopping, instead of overcrowded shops, you get sites crashing from too many people trying to access it.
You might think that it’s only the big boys in retail that take part in this tradition, but that’s not the case. Independent retailers don’t pass up the opportunity, and usually they will have some great deals going on.
A great example would be from the Arthur Price Factory Shop here in Lichfield. You can get purchase an Inspiration 50 piece boxed set that was originally priced at £394.40, for just £95! That means you’ll save £299.40. How could you pass up an offer like that?
Visit ES Jewellery this Black Friday weekend for some brilliant offers on jewellery. Offers include a Pandora charm bracelet and two clips (RRP £200) for just £149. There will be lots of other offers across the ranges over the weekend.
Shave 20% of your bill when you book a table at Pom’s Kitchen & Deli. Call on 01543 651884 and mention Facebook to get your offer! T&Cs valid Friday, Saturday and Sunday this week and excludes the fizz Friday offer and available to tables of 4 or more.
Also as a nice treat, Hunnypot Cottage Designs will be offering 10% off Products from Hunnypot Cottage Designs brought when you visit them at The Shepherd’s Hut at The Heart of the Country Shopping Village.
You don’t necessarily have to travel far to get great deals. Sometimes all you need to do is shop local!
