Beacon Park Fun Day
Taking place this Thursday 9th August between 11.00am - 3.00pm.
There will be lots on offer throughout the day, including arts and crafts, outdoor games, sports, a bear hunt trail, inflatables, stalls and more.
To celebrate, Beacon Park is offering free tennis on its four courts from 8am to 6pm. To book one hour of free play, please call the park rangers on 01543 308867.
In amongst all the fun, will be the Teddy Bear Games where children can bring their teddies and enter races including: The Teddy Sprint, Ted on the Head Race and Teddy Wanging. There will also be the opportunity to meet the newest member of the parks team - Ranger Ted!
Prizes up for grabs for the Teddy Bear Games include: a ride on the mini cars, a go on the inflatable slide, tickets for a game of crazy golf at Beacon Park or Chasewater Country Park, as well as a mini trek at Dunston Stables and Make a Bear vouchers from Lakeside Bistro, which will also be running a special children’s meal deal on the day.
Entry to Beacon Park Fun Day is free, but there will be a small charge for some of the activities.
For a leaflet with more information about the day of fun, which includes teddy bear ears to cut out and wear on the day, pop to the Ranger Station at Beacon Park (next to the crazy golf course).
