After almost 16 years, Diana Muir is hanging up her trowel and passing the popular and much-loved Plant Plot into the hands of new owner, David Rusholme.
"The time has come for me to move on to new projects and enjoy some retirement time. I have had a wonderful time at The Plant Plot and have met some fantastic people along the way.
Dave and I bought it all those years ago with a dream for a different lifestyle. We've definitely had that and Dave's legacy can be seen throughout the centre, in the model allotment and other projects. I've had great support from everyone since Dave died in 2011.
I'd like to thank all our customers, suppliers and friends who have supported The Plant Plot, especially my loyal team - all pictured in the photo above at my leaving do at Pizza by Goli!
I'm not going far so I hope to see my Plant Plot 'family' around and about.
