The next instalment of the Lichfield Garrick's popular Introducing programme explores the journey of a young woman between homelands seeking a better future.

Between the Two, based on director Daniel Tyler’s own family experiences challenges the perception of where is home and where do we belong?

Onboard a ship, we meet a young woman on her voyage between homes. Having grown up in India and witnessing firsthand the historic events leading to Independence, she is now making the journey to Britain where she will spend the rest of her life.

Through flashbacks to her life in India and flash forwards to her future in the UK, the picture is painted of someone caught between two worlds, ethnicities and cultures.

Between the Two is embarking on a national tour to mark the UK-India Year of Culture which is supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.

The show arrives at the Lichfield Garrick’s Studio Theatre on Saturday 17th June at 7.45pm, tickets are £15.50 & £12 (students) and can be bought by calling the box office on 01543 412121.
