The world famous All Souls Orchestra is bringing Prom Praise to Lichfield Cathedral for the first time this year giving people the chance to sing hymns and worship.

Taking place at 7:30pm on Saturday 27th September, Lichfield Cathedral is delighted to be teaming up with The Diocese of Lichfield to bring this very exciting concert to the city.

If you've never heard of Prom Praise, we can tell you that it is a blend of sacred and concert music combining the spirit of Songs of Praise with the enthusiasm of the world-famous Last Night of the Proms.

The concert will be directed by Noël Tredinnick and will include orchestra, solo and choral music - you will even get the chance to join in the singing!

Joining All Souls Orchestra will be Lichfield Cathedral Choirs, Young Voices and Lichfield Cathedral Chamber Choir and Sedgley-born multi-award winning songwriter Chris Eaton will be making an appearance along with his singer-songwriter wife, Abby. The Cathedral will also welcome Dudley-born trumpeter, Giles Fowler.

As you can see this promises to be a fantastic, uplifting night of music.

Tickets for Prom Praise are now available from Lichfield Garrick on 01543 412121 or online at www.lichfieldgarrick.com
