Need Advice on Affordable Housing?
The website is designed to help people find out about all the different types of affordable housing in the district.
It includes advice and support for people who are interested in buying or renting a property, or if they are worried about becoming homeless. It is also for older, disabled or vulnerable residents who may need extra help to live independently.
By going to www.lichfielddc.gov.uk/housingoptions, visitors will also be guided to the right place to get information and advice about other issues which might affect their housing options.
Of the new website, Councillor Ian Pritchard, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Housing, Health and Environmental Protection, said: “We wanted to put all of our housing advice in one place so it is easy to find and access. On top of a wealth of information about housing options, the website also has information on a range of issues, including work and training, financial planning, support services and more.”
And, people who register with the website can get personalised advice based on the information they provide.
“The beauty of registering with the site is that you only need to enter basic information, but it will save you time by only suggesting content that is relevant to you,” continued Cllr Pritchard.
