Adults Complete 109 Life Admin Tasks A Year – Using Your ISA Allowance Should Be At The Top Of The List!

Life admin tasks are things like paying bills, checking the bank statement and looking after our savings.  A recent survey by the Association of Accounting Technicians* found that each adult completes 109 of these tasks every year, and that the average adult has four really important tasks that they need to do but never have enough time to do them!

If there is one really important life-task we would urge you to put at the top of your list is making sure you have used your annual ISA allowance.  This is something that is straight-forward for one of our team of expert, qualified Financial Advisers to sort out for you.

All we need is enough time! All you need to do is pick the phone up and talk to us and we will make the process easy for you.  You don’t need to trudge into your local building societies and banks or trawl the web. We have access to ISAs that are not available on the High Street and we will ensure you use your allowance in the most appropriate way for your individual circumstances.

Time is all important.  You see, you have to use your £20,000 ISA allowance by the 5th April 2019.  This is a really good way to save as you don’t pay tax on the income they produce.  The good news is that the Government gives you an ISA allowance every tax year, the bad news is you have to use it within that tax year.  The allowance can’t be carried over.  You literally use it or lose it.

This tax year each adult in the UK has an allowance of £20,000 that they can invest in a cash ISA, or Stocks and Shares ISA or a mixture of both. Every child also has a Junior ISA allowance of £4,260. A Junior ISA is a great way to teach children about tax-efficient savings and how to make money work harder for you if you make appropriate decisions and have the help of people who can explain the options and pros and cons.

We would love to talk to you and your family.

The value of pensions and investments and the income they produce can fall as well as rise. You may get back less than you invested.

Investors do not pay any personal tax on income or gains, but ISAs do pay unrecoverable tax on income from stocks and shares received by the ISA managers.

At Four Oaks Financial Services, our initial consultation is at our cost and our Financial Advisers are fully qualified to give advice on all kinds of ISAs.  Our offices are in Lichfield or we can visit you in your own home. Contact our Client Liaison Team on 01543 401029 for more information or to make an appointment.
