The Lichfield Garrick excels this year!

The show, which ran from 1 December 2011 to 2 January 2012, broke Box Office records with nearly 25,000 people coming to see the magical production.

A Christmas Carol, which starred The Bill actor Graham Cole and was adapted and produced by the Lichfield Garrick team, received rave reviews from national and local press.

‘This show is almost too good to be confined to a small Staffordshire theatre. In truth it deserves to be seen by a wider audience and would not look out of place on the West End stage.’ – The Stage

‘A Christmas cracker that sends people home with a big smile’ – www.behindthearras.com

‘ A must-see for anyone wanting to get into the spirit of Christmas' – Express and Star

‘The Garrick has another home-grown, Christmas hit on its hands with this light hearted look at Charles Dickens’ Christmas ghost story’ – Birmingham Mail

Throughout the 52 performances, on average 96% of the 523-seat auditorium was full to capacity.

The Lichfield Garrick will announce its next Christmas show later this month.
