Sean Kempton, the lead clown for Cirque du Soleil, presents Stuff, an absurdist show about love as part of the Lichfield Garrick's Introducing programme on Saturday 24th June.

Mixing comedy, mime, clowning and the odd bit of dance, Stuff is a love story but not like one you have seen a million times before, this is another kind of love story, maybe everybody’s love story.

The result is a highly energetic and entertaining, physical piece of theatre that takes its audience on a journey through the fragility, hilarity and awkwardness that love can sometimes entail.

Sean has had an incredibly diverse career spanning all forms of performance. As an actor touring the UK extensively in rep, the West End and at the Royal National Theatre Studios.

He has had a hugely successful circus career being a long time staple clown for Cirque Du Soleil (Varekai, Kooza, Quidam) creating work and performing for Franco Dragone’s Le Reve in Las Vegas and throwing himself around at great heights at the Millenium Dome. Stuff is Sean’s first solo tour.

Stuff is predominantly a non-verbal 60 minute solo show that was developed from interviews of people from the ages of 6 through to 84 on the subjects of love and human connection.

Stuff arrives at the Lichfield Garrick’s Studio Theatre on Saturday 24th June at 7.45pm, tickets are £12.50 & £10 (students) and can be bought by calling the Box Office on 01543 412121.
