Four Oaks Financial Services is a firm of financial advisers based in Lichfield. They held their second annual golf day at Aston Wood Golf Club at the end of June. This annual event was twice the size of the inaugural golf day held in 2017.
65 golfers from local, national and international businesses teed off at 12 noon with a loud shotgun start and played in blistering temperatures which reached over 30 degrees. Financial Advisers from the firm were on hand delivering water and snacks around the course from golf buggies. They even supplied sun protection cream, as the golfers played in sweltering heat that some described as “like playing golf in Spain”!
The winning team was jointly captained by Carl Bannister of Accounted Four (Midlands) Limited and Phil Dumbleton of Phil Dumbleton Carpentry and Joining. The winning individual golfer was John Roberts and the Longest Drive was won by Aaran Beck.
The firm of financial advisers was also delighted to raise £440 for their charity Buddy Bag Foundation.

The golf conditions were very tough owing to the heat, but the competition was very closely fought and we congratulate the winners for not only their skill but also their endurance!”
